Everything in the universe is a balancing act of opposites – light and dark, positive and negative, static and kinetic – represented by male or female energies. The principle of duality governs these energies, and establishing a balance between these opposing forces serves two functions: procreative and creative. This dynamic dichotomy reigns in the Vaasna room on the Tamas floor. Vaasna is a stunning luxury room in Bandra West located at Le Sutra Hotel.
Bed Type: King
Vaasna is a stunning room at Bandra West’s Le Sutra hotel. The wood fresco on the ceiling depicts the union of Shiv and Shakti, or male and female energy. The two figures depicted in the fresco embody the Shiv and Shakti principles, with each becoming a deity to the other, and their union bringing them closer to a single fundamental reality and achieve higher levels of consciousness. The Sex to Salvation lamp depicts how male and female energies work together to complete the energy circle by providing what the other lacks. To meditate, a male sits atop the visual combination of that male and female energy form. Several women above him are manifestations of Shakti, or feminine energy, who elevate him to higher levels of existence. The Khajuraho miniatures and sensual figurines in the room depict sexual union as a means of spiritual completion. The chair in the room, inspired by the male reproductive organ, represents the continuity of life.
