Yagna is a Vedic-era sacred ritual of appeasement that includes sacrifice, worship, prayers, and offerings to deities. Fire is used to make offerings to the five elements of air, water, fire, earth, and space. In essence, the Yagna room represents the art of self-purification through offerings, ascension from negative karma, and ultimately union with the divine within.

A havan kund is a structure in which a sacred fire burns, as depicted in the painting and on the table. When the fire is used to make offerings to the deities, it generates the energy required for the ritual to succeed. The Agni chair represents the holy flame required for a yagna. A rudraksha which is a bead worn during a yagna, is depicted on the wall hanging. Wearing a rudraksha is thought to bring spiritual wisdom. A swastika, a sacred tantric symbol used to invoke Shakti, or feminine energy, is featured on the headboard. The bell hangings are inspired by the bells that produce sound vibrations during a yagna. The cabinet handles are shaped like the wooden spoons used to immerse various offerings into the havan kund to keep the flame burning until the ritual is finished.
